As I was driving home last night, I watched the full yellow moon creeping up from the ocean over Waihi Beach. It was one of those times when I wished I was down at the beach capturing it. long shutter speed and using rear sync flash which was great except that I was using the 10-20mm wide and even with the hood removed I had a black spot in the foreground. I took 51 shots and quite a few are definitely workable. more noise issues this time and less contrasts to make focussing easy but none which were insurmountable.
